European Waste Catalogue (EWC) codes are used to categorise all types of waste and are applicable to all types of clinical waste. You have a duty of care to ensure your waste is correctly classified and is handled in the right manner. A comprehensive list of EWC codes can be found here on the Environment-Agency (Gov.uk) site.
